Of course, Lawrence isn't the only driving instructor in Gidea Park with great reviews, there are several good instructors in the area but sadly, there are even more bad ones. So, deciding on the best instructor for you, is of paramount importance. Manual or Automatic?
More people are choosing to learn automatic now than ever before, probably because of the growing popularity of electric cars* But when passing in an automatic car, you will only be able to drive automatic in the future - unless of course you go onto learning manual afterwards which some people do. So, in the past it was usually best to choose manual even though it was more difficult to learn. But from 2030 there is a ban on new petrol and diesel vehicles so the number of them will steadily decline in the coming years. It is already the case that new automatic car sales outnumber manual ones, and that swing will continue in the future. Soon, pretty much all of us will just drive automatic - the need to learn manual is no longer the necessity it once was.
